Instructions

Simply upload your photos through Facebook messenger or to our WhatsApp messaging service and our 3D artists will create a digital 3D model for you to approve. Please quote "3D Selfie from photos" in your message and include your PayPal email address. 

(Please allow 3-5 working days for our 3D artists to create a digital 3D model for you to preview)

Instructions and tips

 Take 30 - 40 photos of the front half of your head. Make sure to include photos of the top of your head, under your chin, the side of your face and the front of your face 

Make sure to capture as many angles of your face and head as possible

Stay as still as possible and keep your head in the same position while taking your photos

Take some close-up photos of your face around your eyes, nose and mouth

Try to keep your eyes open and your mouth closed for each picture

Take at least one photo which has the front of your head /face clearly showing in the photo

A neutral pose/smile normally works best

Wait for your camera to focus before taking each picture

Use the best quality camera you can

Try to get to a friend or family member to take your photos

Remove any accessories such as glasses, hoods, hats and jewellery if possible

Try to keep your hair tied back and away from your face

Take your photos in an area with soft lighting (try to avoid shadows and light reflecting on your face). Try taking your photos outside during the day on an overcast day, try to avoid taking your photos in bright sunlight

Try to avoid any mirrors in your photos

If you would like your 3D model or print to be made to a particular scale (i.e. 25% scale model) then please add one extra photo with a tape measure or ruler being held against the front of your face so we have a reference to make your model to the correct size (*extra charges might apply)

If you have an assistant taking your photos, please ask them to try and keep their shadow out of the photos where possible

(Your photos should only include 1 person)

• TOP TIP: If you are taking your own photos you can cast your phone screen to another device to help you take your photos when using the rear facing camera of a smartphone. (If you have a good quality front facing camera on your smart phone, you can also use it to take your photos)

We will send you a PayPal invoice once you are happy to complete your order

Please allow up to 6 weeks for your 3D printed selfie  / items to be manufactured and shipped

( Normally dispatched within 3-4 weeks )

Once you have confirmed your purchase we will produce and ship your item to the confirmed PayPal shipping address being used

3D printed items and 3D scans may contain some imperfections due to the 3D scanning and 3D printing process

You will need a PayPal account to complete your Purchase online
