It normally takes around 5-10 minutes to carry out a 3D scan of a bust and around 10-15 minutes for a full 3D body scan  

Please allow up to 10 minutes for each 3D scan to be processed

(Please note that if you are paying for you order online then you will need a PayPal account)

You can pay for order during your 3D scan by card, cash or PayPal

The models we produce are made out of plastic or resin. We also make models out of metal (*special request)

3D printed plastic models should be kept below 40 degrees Celsius. It is best to keep your 3D models indoors  

Do not place 3D prints directly under a light bulb that produce heat (consider using a cool low energy led bulb to illuminate up your 3D prints)

Do not place anything on top of your 3D prints

We do not have a permanent store for you to visit at the moment.

We can offer 3D scans and prints for couples as a special request at an extra cost. Please mention this in our contact form

We can 3D scan people individually and have them placed together to make a group scan and 3D print (this can be done at an additional cost) Please mention this in our contact form

We can offer a discounted price if you order 2 or more of the same item

Our 3D prints are strong enough to be handled and moved if needed without breaking

3D prints are intended to be used for display purposes only (not as toys)

Our 3D printed models may have small imperfections or sharp edges due to the 3D printing process

We also offer items in solid metal (*special request)

We will do our best to provide you with an accurate size for your 3D scans and prints. 

There are small variations in the accuracy of your size due to the 3D printing and scanning process

If you visit us for a 3D scan we can take extra measurements of you during your appointment to make your 3D scan and 3D print more accurate

It can take 4-6 weeks to produce and ship your 3D print once you have paid for your order

We normally ship 3D prints 3-4 weeks after an order has been paid for

We will send your items via 2nd class post with recorded delivery 

If you need your 3D prints delivered faster then we can do this at an extra cost depending on how soon you need them. Please mention this to a member of staff during your appointment so we can do our best to accommodate your requests (may come at an additional charge) 

Yes, a member of our team will provide you with a discounted rate for postage if you are ordering multiple items

Yes, you can have a 3D model printed of yourself by sending us your photos. The more photos you send us, the more detail we can add to your 3d model. Click the link to navigate to our page that describes the process  https://www.3dprintedselfie.com/use-your-camera

Our 3D printed models should kept indoors

Our non coloured 3D printed models have a good level of water resistance, but we recommend you store them in a dry, cool place

Our coloured models have a low level of water resistance. They should not be exposed to water for any significant period of time

Our full coloured 3D printed models made out of gypsum powder are not water resistant and must not be exposed to water

Any unsuccessful 3D scans will be fully refunded if any payment has been made

Unsuccessful 3D scans can not be 3D printed

Personalised items are not eligible for returns (this does not affect your statutory rights) 

Return postage is to be paid by the customer

• We will follow recommended guidelines from the government

• Customers can book in advance to help minimise any ques

We need at least a 2m long x 2m wide x 2.5m tall clear space with good lighting to carry out 3D scans.

We can securely store your digital 3D scan so it is available for you to have 3D printed when ever you would like. 

If you prefer we can delete your 3D scan after 6 months (or sooner if requested). Your 3D scan will need to be redone (at an extra charge) if you choose to have your 3D file deleted before you place an order
